WWE Elimination Chamber goes live on pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sun., Feb. 17, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, but the promotion is also offering a free live stream of its pre-show starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The featured match to get the crowd nice and warmed up for the main show will be a simple tag tea bout pitting the reunited Rhodes Scholars -- for one night only, mind you -- taking on the babyface fat man duo of Brodus Clay and Tensai.
This seems to be one of those instances where a match was thrown together with no rhyme or reason simply to fill up time before getting to the main attractions. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes' respective returns to singles competition hasn't gone smoothly but they won't be sticking together as a team after this, or so WWE says. Here's a thought: This is being done to give Clay and Tensai a chance to dance on the show without taking up time on the PPV.
Either way, it's what we're getting.
